Join us for an exploration of how two of the world's most celebrated grape varieties have found their place across some of the world's most distinctive wine regions, revealing compelling interpretations beyond their Burgundian origins.
The evening begins with Chardonnay, led by Joseph Colin's Saint-Aubin 1er Cru from Burgundy. From there, we journey across the Atlantic to California and Oregon, where Donum and Evening Land offer their own interpretations of this Burgundian variety, with an emphasis on individual vineyard character and a sense of place.
Pinot Noir follows, with a mature Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru 1999 from Domaine Fougeray de Beauclair providing the Burgundian benchmark. The journey continues to Jean Stodden in Germany, Blue Farm in California and Baettig in southern Chile, exploring how Pinot Noir thrives in cooler regions beyond Burgundy, taking on new dimensions as it responds to different climates and terroirs.
Across seven wines and four countries, discover how Chardonnay and Pinot Noir have travelled beyond their Burgundian roots, shaped by new landscapes while retaining the qualities that have made these varieties among the world's most revered.
Canapés will be served throughout the tasting. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early registration is highly recommended.
