100% Chardonnay. Dosage 8 g/l. Aged for six years on lees. Buttery, broad, developed, complex, open-knit. Long, sophisticated palate with high but well-integrated acid. Zingy but ripe-enough fruit to balance. (RH)

Tasted blind. Some autolysis. Rather frothy and bone dry, with green-fruit notes. But, on the palate, it’s still pretty youthful. (JR)

Full bottle 1,607 g. 100% Chardonnay from 20-year-old estate vines. Bottled in 2015 with no oak intervention, six years sur lattes before disgorging in 2021.  White flowers and a silk-scarf of smokiness on the nose. Very fine grapefruit and pomelo shaping the palate, with traces of honeyed richness and beeswax candle hinting at how the wine will evolve. Corinne Seely's trademark nervosité and tension run through the wine like piano wire, fibrillating with energy, but, true to Exton Park, exquisitely precise. This may well last and evolve for much longer than I have suggested. (TC)
