Full cork-stoppered bottle 1,368 g in a jazzy orange carboard box. Useful as a gift?  Shaded, transparent fox red. Raisiny nose without as much obvious wood age as the Kopke 10 Year Old white I have just been tasting. A robust, vigorous style with a little bite and not enormously sweet. This would be great with a hard cheese, maybe some nuts, too. (JR)

Full bottle 1,379 g. Certified sustainable (BCorp). Not as fresh as the Graham's tasted alongside – it tastes a little sweeter, stickier, darker. Like a slice of the darkest, densest gingerbread topped with a smoosh of home-made strawberry jam and a drizzle of balsamic reduction. Closer in style to vintage port than tawny port, I'd argue. You'd really want this with a generous slather of chicken-liver paté on hot buttered toast. Robust rather than refined, but that's observation not criticism. (TC)

Darkly sweet and nutty. Finishes pretty dry with a firm citrus tang.  (JH)
