Mild and green and fresh on the nose. Quite developed. Sweet start. Perhaps not very noble and more advanced than some but a decent glass of northern Médoc, provided you can accommodate the greenness on the finish. (JR)

Positively black! Very opulent on the nose – not very Saint-Estèphe but potentially rather winning on the nose. Sweet and flashy with almost enough upfront to distract from the very dry, rasping tannins on the finish. Quite a bit of substance. But terribly inky. Very, very dry on the finish. (JR)
