Very pale. Still lots of sulphur on the nose. Embryonic. The acidity dominates the sweetness for the moment – even a little skinny. Lemon sherbet is the overpowering impression. Pretty astringent finish. This is a rather scratchy texture and, although it is quite persistent, does seem to be drier than many other Nahe Riesling Auslese. (JR)
