Also recommended, but no tasting note given. Pierre Morey bottled the 2007s under his negociant label Morey-Blanc in early Spring, a bit ahead of his estate wines in the expectation that the former will open-up sooner for early enjoyment. Bright lemon-yellow color. Exotic aromas of pineapple and spices, with a whiff of resin. Tactile, juicy and a bit youthfully hard-edged, with brisk citrussy acidity framing the flavors of pineapple, lemon and minerals. This will need a good three or four years to harmonize and soften.
