The NV Pedro Ximénez 20 Años VOS feels a bit young and primary, as this year I had the chance to tasted it next to the older VORS. It has notes of molasses and golden raisin, a bit syrupy and very sweet. It's thick and dense, sticky and with some bitter chocolate notes in the finish. I tasted the L1/25, the first bottling of 2025. 1,700 bottles produced.

Shaded blackish tawny. Pruney nose. Too thick and sweet for my palate. (JR)

Opaque. As black as a priest’s suit. Chocolate, some of those wild fruits (damson, blackberry, hawthorn jam) , with the bittersweet element of liquorice and dark chocolate. An almost-burnt element. Mouth-filling, with some sesame and clove. (DB)

Vanilla, sweet spice, thick treacle, lengthy molasses finish. Calorific! (RH)
