Good life and zest on the nose. But a tiny bit watery on the palate somehow. Not quite enough fruit density between the nose and the slightly hot finish. (JR)

No attempt is made here to hide the effects of spontaneous fermentation, but the enticing combination of elderflower, green mint and gooseberry aromas tempts further exploration. On the palate a combination of juicy lime and sweet grapefruit gets the salivary glands going. A full body and great substance of flavour, which does not merely rely on citrus fruit but also sports a nice sideline in minerality, make this a memorable contender from the lower, less touristy part of the Mosel.
