The Côte du Rhone VV has a dense ruby color with a core of intense ripe black fruit complemented by notes of dried herbs, tapenade and liquorice. The 50+ year old vines lends the wine excellent concentration and depth on the palate. With a typical peppery finish, this is all together a very seductive Cotes de Rhone which gives instant pleasure.

About the producer
Domaine Font de Courtedune – for now, at least – is something of an insider’s secret. With vineyards right next door to Ch. Rayas, and sharing the same sandy soils, this tiny Châteauneuf-du-Pape estate produces outstanding wines that are a fraction of the price of those of its famous neighbour.
