Monforte d’Alba. Tasted blind. Concentrated ruby with orange tinges. A little reductive and herbal on the nose and with savoury notes and a little smoky. Elegant palate that is not yet open and with firm muscular, and slightly stalky tannins. Great balance but not ready by far. (WS)
