Tasting notes
I like the lemony freshness, with sliced pear, lemon sherbet, apple crumble and pie crust aromas. It’s creamy and balanced, with a medium body and a rounded, biscuity finish. 70% pinot noir and 30% chardonnay. From organically grown grapes. Sustainable. Disgorged October 2024. Drink now.

Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale. 70% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. 50% reserve wine. Bottled April 2017, disgorged January 2019. Wide, white-linen lemon nose. Soft folds into crisp, starch-ironed angles; soft cloudy white florals into scalpel-sharp citrus lines. Maths-textbook geometry meets Wordsworth and his clouds of dancing daffodils. Spring sunlight meets milk-white fingers and a pewter ring. (TC)
The NV Brut Grand Cru shows off the broad shoulders and expansive personality of Ambonnay in its rich, textured fruit. Ripe red berries, pears, hazelnuts and pastry are some of the nuances that are woven together in this attractive, totally delicious NV Champagne. Disgorged June 2011. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2015. Importer: Bertin Henri Selections, Doral, FL; tel. (305) 392-6995
