Marzipan, honey, toasted hazelnut and butter cream: the flavors here suggest something to slather on toast, and the wine's viscosity, too, invites this. Yet there is that rare elegance, polish and lightness in the mouth shown by only a few of the best 2000s and a ravishingly pure finish. Unfortunately, there are only 160 half-bottles. 2 stars.
