Score 93/100 · Drink 2020-2033, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Aug 2019

From a parcel characterized by sandy-clay soils, the NV Extra Brut Les Alliées derives entirely from the 2013 vintage. Offering up aromas of yellow orchard fruit, dried white flowers, beeswax and mandarin, it's full-bodied, racy and incisive, with a tightly wound but concentrated core, tangy acids and a long, mineral finish. In keeping with the vintage, this is a tensile, precise rendition of Les Alliées, and it will need some time. It was disgorged in June 2018 with four grams per liter dosage.

100% Meunier, vintage 2008. Grafted. Smells of damp chalk and is a little tart. Only medium concentration. (JR)
