AP number 36 20. Intense pale gold colour. Quite intense, ripe nose – almost verging on oily. But then on the palate there is real tension as well as all that glorious ripe Riesling flavour inside a mineral framework. Medium weight and extremely refreshing and rewarding. (JR)

A very cool customer! A firm, highly structured wine with great power, but also super crisp at the stern, serious finish. Limited production. From organically grown grapes with Fair\'n Green certification.

The 2019 Riesling GG Oberhäuser Brücke opens with a clear, elegant, coolish, ripe and well-concentrated yeasty/flinty-scented nose—a Riesling à la Dönnhoff bouquet that is made to like it. Medium-bodied, fresh, finessed and elegant on the palate, this is a frisky, salty and well-structured dry Riesling from the famous sweet-wine vineyard at the bridge of Oberhausen. This is already accessible and stimulating, yet it is perhaps less expressive and distinctive than Cornelius Dönnhoff's other GG bottlings. Tasted in May 2020.
