The brilliant 2019 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru bursts from the glass with scents of raspberries, rose petals, exotic spices, orange rind, musk and forest floor. Full-bodied, velvety and concentrated, it's a layered, textural wine, with a sensual attack that segues into a deep core of vibrant and intensely concentrated fruit, framed by melting tannins and lively acids. It concludes with a saline and intensely perfumed finish.

The 2019 Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru is blessed with a bewitching bouquet with intense red fruit, crushed stone, pressed rose petals. There is a sorbet-like vitality to this Grand Cru, very well balanced with impressive depth. There is a slight savoriness that develops with time, almost Grands-Echézeaux-like in style with a very persistent finish. This is absolutely divine.
