This Collection Case comes directly from the château (released in 2022), containing three vintages of Ch. Gilette’s extraordinary sweet wine. Aged for a remarkable 20 years in cement tank, these Sauternes are remarkably complex and age-worthy. The 1989 is “thoroughly gorgeous” according to the Wine Spectator’s James Molesworth, the 1996 “wildly expressive” and the 1983 “saturated with quince, glazed peach and dried apricot”. This three-bottle case contains one bottle (75cl) each of the 1983, 1989 and 1996 vintages of Ch. Gilette, presented in a wooden case.
