Aromas of pear, orange oil, vanilla pod, baking spices, beeswax and freshly baked bread introduce the 2020 Corton Grand Cru Blanc, a medium to full-bodied, ample and tightly wound wine, with racy acids, chalky structure and a long, mineral finish.

The 2020 Corton Blanc Grand Cru has the finest bouquet of the whites from Chandon des Briailles with seductive scents of honeysuckle, broom, fern and crushed stone. The palate is fresh and vibrant on the entry, quite taut with notes of lime cordial and orange pith, though I am just seeking more delineation on the finish. Still, this should age well.
