Full bottle 1,368 g. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec. Look at the vintage! I think this is a very serious estate really badly affected by the fires. Complex, well-knit nose with some burnt notes. Perhaps – ironically – a little too charred in flavour to appeal to everyone but it certainly has character. (JR)

50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 29% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 8% Petit Verdot, 5% Malbec. Deep ruby-garnet. Vanilla and cooked fruit, with some tomato-leaf tones again. Crushed rock and dusty mineral complexity, with white pepper and bacon fat. Full bodied, fully extracted drying tannins, with quite bright acidity, but lacking some flavour depth for the structure. Hard work, but may come around. (TJ)

Yikes! Repulsive sewage aromas here. What on earth? This can’t be right. Vile. Rotten with something. (RH)
