Drink 0-0, David Schildknecht, Vinous, Jan 2005

Meaty, smoky, and demurely peachy in the nose. Rich and glossy on the palate, with softly ripe peach and bosc pear fruit flavors accented by delicate salt, woodsmoke, lemon oil and toasted nuts. Really low-toned on the finish: like an orchestra without violins. 1 star.
