(an assemblage of eight parcels): Bright pale yellow. Peach and spices on the inviting nose. A supple, rather elegant fruit bomb on the palate; less rich but more spicy and delineated than the village Chassagne-Montrachet, with a touch of salty minerality adding grip to its bright yellow fruits. A step above the Chassagne in lift and length too, finishing with a subtle floral aspect. One senses the sunny vintage here but the wine maintains good energy and balance.

The 2015 Puligny Montrachet Village has a light, grass clipping-tinged bouquet that feels a little reserved at the moment. There's a bit of inertia here. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, taut and linear, yet just needing to develop more intensity and mineralité towards the finish. It just needs a little more terroir expression.

Pale lemon-yellow. Yellow peach plus hints of smoke and butter on the nose. A rich, round wine with a seamless texture and subtle sweetness. With nicely integrated acidity, this wine comes across as less warm than the Chassagne-Montrachet Les Encegnières. Slightly phenolic on the finish but not bitter or dry.
