Tasted blind. Quite complex (not a common descriptor in this tasting of Loire Sauvignons) and evolved on the nose. Broad and a little low on acidity though clearly very ambitious and interesting. Dry finish after a mosaic of interesting vegetation and moss. Long and a proper many-layered wine. One to savour. (JR)

Barrel sample. Softer and more supple than their En Grands Champs. Seems more simple too. (RH)

Intense and fine and directed. Some green fruit quality. Not amazingly long but correct. (JR)
