A beautiful blend of the best barrels of all the single vineyards and it shows wonderful complexity and thoughtfulness. Layered and complete, giving you so much flavor and deliciousness.

72% estate fruit and some purchased fruit from other sites in the region. Aged 16 months in 51% new French oak barrels.  The aromas are richer and deeper-toned while still carrying a focus on ripe red cherries and mixed berries. There are notes of anise and clove, a hint of cinnamon, a mix of dried mushrooms, and a bit of mixed tobacco through the palate. The palate carries some warmth and a velvety mouthfeel. There is plenty of generosity of flavour here and also plenty of length, though the alcohol is also a bit elevated through the mid palate. A Pinot for those wanting a fuller expression of the variety. (ECB)
