The Bruno Giacosa 2020 Barbaresco Rabajà is a little rounder and softer in personality compared to the extremely focused and linear 2021 vintage. This expression awards dark fruit and lovely concentration and has a medium-plus body on the palate. You can't say that it is more accessible, because the wine will require more bottle aging, but there is a softness to the fruit that is immediately pleasing.

Will always be white label (ie not Riserva). Great maturation of grapes and picked early October. A warm vintage but still good water from 2019. Approachable vintage. To be released in 2024. Pungent nose. And very fine and fresh. The fruit really springs from the glass. Usually more powerful but in 2020 it has great finesse. Long! (JR)
