A generous array of fruit aromas includes stone fruit, citrus fruit, but above all blackcurrants. Luscious and juicy fruit is complemented by a dash of honey and raisins, but there’s enough acidity to evoke associations of the freshness and purity of a cool mountain stream. Substance – immense, finish – ever-lasting, complexity – unbelievable. (MS)
