Deep dark russet colour. Very bright. Sweet and rich – Michael Broadbent said it tasted rather like an old rioja. Definitely sweet oak. Perhaps very slightly pinched on the palate with lots of dryness on the finish but great race and completeness on the palate. Extremely rich and gorgeous. (JR)
