Score 93/100 · Drink 2019-2032, Neal Martin, Nov 2018

The 2015 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a straightforward bouquet that gains complexity with aeration, featuring white peach, flint and faint touches of orange blossom. This is quite nuanced and really responsive in the glass. The palate is well balanced, with a ripe, tropical-tinged entry, veins of orange pith, nectarine and yellow plum, a fine bead of acidity and a finish that conveys the fatness that you seek in a Corton-Charlemagne. Excellent. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (DIAM 30 closure)
