Tasting notes
FINE+RARE, Nov 2024

Domaine Faiveley’s Clos du Roy is a firm favourite at FINE+RARE. The 2023 is already bottled and a gorgeously juicy, vibrant wine. Packed with deep red plum and cherry fruit, it’s concentrated yet lively, with supple tannins and a mineral freshness that drives through to the finish. Once more justifying why we love this year in, year out.

More reticent on the nose than the Clos des Myglands 2023. Still a little oak in evidence as well as a bit of alcohol. (JR)
