2023 Savigny Les Beaune Rouvrettes

This plot, just as you enter the village, is domaine-owned. The resulting wine was a little reductive when we tasted it back in October, but beneath that is a wine of great potential. Plum joins red cherry fruit, pure and bright, but with an earthy savouriness that underlines the fruit. Grippy tannins frame the fruit, dominating a little at this early stage, but will integrate with time, alongside the juicy berry fruit.
