Formerly Bélair and presented by M. Edouard Moueix (though Moueix only took it over in 2008!) Palish crimson. Very fragrant light touch. Lots of acidity. Bit lean for the moment. (JR)

Deep red-ruby. Black fruits and a minty nuance on the nose. Juicy, minty and tight, with good purity and definition to the slightly medicinal black fruit flavors. Not a fleshy style but offers good energy and finishes with rather supple tannins.

Moueix: Light to mid crimson. Light minerals and leafiness on the nose. Lots of acidity – really quite difficult to love at this stage. Very transparent and defiantly 2007! Lots of both acid and quite tough tannins on the very sudden finish. Seems like a serious under-performer this year. Wait for it to soften? (JR)
