The 2022 Pinot Noir West Block has pure, continually unfurling aromas of wild berry jam, bergamot, aniseed and black tea leaves. The light-bodied palate reveals expansive, layered flavors that segue from flowers to spice. It has a luxuriously silky texture, mouthwatering acidity and a long, detailed finish. It opens dramatically with air and will reward 2-3+ years in the cellar or a couple of hours in a decanter.

A youthful bright ruby red color, the 2022 Pinot Noir West Block is the original Rochioli selection offers notes of ripe pomegranate, bright red cherries, tangerine, an elegant floral perfume, and refined spice. Medium-bodied, it’s focused and linear, with mouthwatering freshness and outstanding length. A stunning and long wine on the palate that keeps going, it has incense on the long finish and great chalky mineral texture. Give this one a few years and drink 2027-2040.
