Pale, bright, green-tinged yellow. Ripe yellow peach, oatmeal and a smoky leesy nuance on the nose. Round and plush but dry; less forthcoming today than the Clavoillon but at least as dense. The finish is supple but a bit sullen. In a very closed stage two months after it was bottled.

Firm and dense with great tension. Floral at first. Vibrato stuff. Bone dry and quite concentrated. Crackling fruit. But mainly quite nutty – walnuts. (JR)

Pale, bright yellow. Expressive musky aromas of candied lemon peel, peach, spices and flowers. Silky, fresh and firm, with ripe acidity framing and carrying the flavors of lemon peel and flowers. Lovely stuffing and lift here. Finishes dry and perfumed, with sneaky length and subtle minerality. Leflaive is using just 20% to 25% new oak for their premier crus nowadays, notes winemaker Eric Remy.
