2011 Elena Walch Beyond The Clouds

The 2011 Alto Adige Beyond the Clouds is a blend of mostly Chardonnay with smaller percentages of aromatic grapes that go a long way to shape the floral intensity of the bouquet. The wine is richly creamy and smooth on the palate with lingering tones of sweet almond, honeysuckle, exotic fruit, papaya, fresh lime and spring flower. There’s a subtle touch of sweetness on the close that helps to add to the overall intensity and smoothness of the wine.
