2007 Gargiulo Cabernet Sauvignon G Major 7 Study 575 OVX

The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon 575 OVX G Major 7 (806 cases produced) which comes from Gargiulo’s 575 OVX Vineyard, is composed of 86% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. An intriguing nose of graphite, creme de cassis, spicy oak, licorice, and subtle hints of charcoal and hot pebbles is followed by a big, firmly structured, masculine Cabernet that offers good minerality as well as a certain Graves-like character. Give it 4-5 years of bottle age, and drink it over the following 20+ years.
