Score 87/100 · Drink 1998-2006, Robert Parker, Dec 1998

The 1995 Cabernet Sauvignon Knight's Valley reveals a deep ruby color, followed by copious quantities of sweet black currant fruit, good acidity, light tannin, and a round, lush, seductive finish. Enjoy it over the next 7-8 years. This wine is made in abundant quantities. One of the safest choices a consumer can make, it has been a consistently fine and accurate representation of Cabernet's varietal characteristics. Tel. (707) 963-7115; Fax (707) 963-1735

Very good ruby-red. Bright, pure aromas of cassis, shoe polish and minerals. Juicy, vibrant dark berry flavor in the mouth. Has strong material for the vintage. Finishes firm and fresh, with tannins in harmony with the wine fruit. Should show more nuance with a couple years of bottle aging.
