Mid gold. Taut and exciting. Bone dry with bracing, seering acidity. This is a no-prisoners Riesling that should develop long and beautifully but it certainly needs time. (JR)

(this did not go through malolactic fermentation as the pH was too low, according to Humbrecht) Very ripe, vibrant aromas of minerals, flowers, mint and stone. Dense and juicy, with penetrating fruit-driven flavors of grapefruit, pineapple and lemon enlivened by bracing acidity (10.5 grams per liter!). Not surprisingly, this tastes drier than its ten grams of sugar suggests. Should be excellent.
