Full, broad, rather smudgy nose. Very full bodied indeed but its has lost its youthful freshness. Big and almost oily and hot on the end. This could certainly stand up to some very full, rich food – roast goose? Dill pickle finish with notes of cinnamon. Still quite firm on the finish. (JR)

Cream, vanilla, ripe lemon and highly scented floral characters. Lots of dairy on the palate, but not at the expense of ripe tropical fruit like pineapple and banana. Concentrated and weighty in style with some vegetal characters on the finish. (RH)

Tank sample. All acacia. Very sleek on limestone with lovely minerality. Perfumed and exciting. A lovely forward bottle with just a hint of acetone. A little botrytis. (JR)
