(aged in new 500-liter tonneaux Moderately saturated ruby-red. High-toned, floral aromas of cassis, tobacco, mocha, dark chocolate and brown spices. Supple and pliant for the vintage, but with sound underlying structure and excellent vinosity. Already offers enticing inner-mouth perfume. Finishes with good grip, solid but ripe tannins and persistent fruit. Subtle notes of rose and violet.
