Pale color. Nose dominated by lemon and stony minerality. Dense and sweet but quite austere, with an impression of creamy depth countered by a suggestion of grape skins. Finishes very firm and austere. Raphael Coche noted that this was the estate's hottest sector and lowest yield in 2010, which led to "a lot of concentration of the skins, and a tannic quality like the 2005." Forget about this one for at least seven or eight years.

Very pretty and floral on the nose. Full bodied and relatively round for a Coche-Dury white. More oxidative than most – very different from the other wines in this meticulously run cellar. Racy with a hint of ginger.  (JR)

Lemon, crushed stone and a suggestion of metallic minerality on the nose. Quite tight, brisk and firm, with citrus flavors kept in check by strong acidity and some unabsorbed gas. Finishes long and firm. Coche did his normal lees stirring for the 2010s but had stopped about two months before my visit.
