Smells of white peach, sage and honey. A sleeker, finer and also more Abtsberg-typical wine than the "#219," this is characterized by less botrytis and more frost. The acids are slightly hard but more harmonious than the Spatlese, too. Peach, honey, sweet herbs and slate in the finish. The Abtsberg Auslese "#219," which sent a mixed message of botrytis and Eiswein, seemed to request time to settle down.
