The 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet La Concis de Champs, which Olivier Lamy tells me is the first to be picked, has a crisp, pure Granny Smith apple scented nose with a touch of spring meadow. The palate is very tensile, quite steely, beautifully focused and pure with great mineralité on the finish. This is the best wine that I have tasted from this vineyard.

Aromas of lime zest, mandarin orange, honey and white flowers introduce the 2017 Chassagne-Montrachet Le Concis du Champs, a satiny, medium-bodied wine with tangy acids, a layered mid-palate and a bright, pure finish.
