The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard delivers complex aromas of ripe cherries, cinnamon, a dusting of fine earth, cola and cocoa. Full-bodied and rich but still almost drinkable already, this powerhouse Cab finishes long, with gentle, powdery tannins, a bit of peppery spice and perhaps just a touch of warmth. I'd give it a few years in the cellar, then drink it over the next decade or two. 319 cases produced.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard just about jumps out of the glass with its huge nose of ripe currants, cassis, gravelly earth, rocky minerality, chocolate, and spring flowers. Deep, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, it shows more elegance and finesse than you’d expect given the nose, and the balance is spot on, it has pure, ripe tannins, no hard edges, and a great finish. This beautiful, complete Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon will benefit from short-term bottle age and evolve for 20-25 years.
