The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Tamara Vineyard is the third in a series of gorgeous wines from Kinsella Estate. Blackberries, cassis, menthol and graphite meld together in a cool, inward Cabernet Sauvignon that captures the essence of the vintage. Today the wine is naturally very tight, but the power, energy and sheer structure bode very well for the future. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the next handful of years.

Today the wine is naturally very tight, but the power, energy and sheer structure bode very well for the future. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow over the next handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2025. Kevin Kinsella’s many achievements include a highly successful career in venture capital and the vision to provide early funding for the hit musical “The Jersey Boys.” Kinsella has set his sights to making wine with the assistance of noted winemaker Thomas Rivers-Brown. The three-acre, organically farmed vineyard was originally planted in 2000. Another ten acres were subsequently planted in 2008.
