What a difference a Goldkapsel can make. Or so it seems, as the fragrance of the Herrenberg Auslese does not just have more honey, but also herbs, flowers and a great diversity of tropical fruit. Very juicy and silky on the palate, but all that residual sugar with its butterscotch effect is perfectly balanced by healthy acidity, and even minerality is allowed a parting shot. (MS)
