The 1999 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatieres offers toasted mineral scents. Medium-bodied, focused, and with excellent richness, this broad, mineral and stone-flavored wine also displays hints of lemon in its extensive finish. It is well-balanced, harmonious, and refined. Projected maturity: now-2008. Importer: Frederick Wildman & Sons, New York, NY; tel (212) 355-0700.
