Score 96/100 · Drink 2016-2046, Robert Parker, Jan 2016

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Dancing Bear Ranch (a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and 7% Merlot aged 22 months in about 50% new French oak) has a dense purple color, wonderfully sweet cassis fruit and blackberries, with a touch of mulberry, forest floor and underbrush. Full-bodied, rich, concentrated and super-pure, this beauty is young, but accessible, yet I don’t see it hitting its prime for another 7-8 years. This is a 30+ year wine that should provide compelling drinking when fully mature.
