Dark crimson. Light but well-melded nose. Reasonably plump fruit and nice freshness with still a little bit of tannin in evidence. Slightly drying on the finish. This could provide attractive drinking at the right price. But not for that long. (JR)

Scent of tea leaves. Very good colour and subtly concentrated nose. Healthy yeoman rather than sophisticated aristo but lots there. A velvety start and tannins hidden well. (JR)

Excellent colour and concentrated but subtle nose with tealeaf aromas. Healthy yeoman wine with lots there. Quite a velvety start and tannins hidden particularly well. (JR)
