Tasting notes
FINE+RARE, Nov 2022

Jean-Marie Fourrier sources fruit for his Latricières-Chambertin from a plot of 60-year-old vines just next to the Route des Grands Crus. The wine is dark and ripe, among the most intense in the Fourrier line-up this year with the oak standing out a little in its youthful stage. The palate is densely packed, however, with black cherry and blackberry fruit – with a firm grip of tannin framing the fruit. Sweet spice and a mineral freshness fills the long finish.

A solid even deep crimson. Quite bright fruit, seems crisper and cooler, with good energy. Medium length, not quite the concentration. Still, a fine and enjoyable Latricières.
