The 2021 Chardonnay Ryo-fu, crafted with 10% new oak, is scented of white peach, honeysuckle, meringue and hazelnuts. The medium-bodied palate is citrusy and mineral driven with nutty undertones. Its satiny texture is foiled by tangy acidity and it has a long, dynamic finish.

The 2021 Chardonnay Ryo-fu is a blend from KR Ranch and Charles Heinz. Precise and sculpted, with gorgeous mid-palate pliancy, the Ryo-fu offers hints of orchard fruit, slate, wild flowers and a touch of sweet new oak, all melding together in this classy, layered Chardonnay from Freeman.

Named with the Japanese word for "cool breeze," the 2021 Chardonnay Ryo-Fu pours a pale yellow and has a nuttier profile of toasted spice, ripe peach, and lemon balm. Medium to full-bodied, it’s fresh with orange citrus, but is richer with extract, more phenolic richness, and textural notes of gravelly earth. Drink 2024-2036.
