The Basilisk, 100% Grenache from Greywake, is fabulous in 2018. Bright and focused, with striking presence, the Basilisk is so compelling. Sweet red cherry, blood orange, spice, mint and pomegranate race out of the glass. All the elements meld together in a sumptuous, racy but not overdone red that delivers the goods. The 2018 is one of the most alluring vintages of Basilisk I can remember tasting. What a great start, to this look at Helen Keplinger's 2018s.
