A blend of 71% Sauvignon Blanc and 29% Semillon, the Savage Wines 2024 Savage White sings with lifted floral and fruity aromatics. Green apple, passion fruit and honeysuckle weave through mineral tones and a touch of elegant reduction. The palate is lean yet finely textured, with subtle oak used judiciously to broaden the mid-palate while preserving vertical intensity and length. The wine is fermented and aged for 12 months in 500-liter French oak (with 20% new), followed by two months in stainless steel. This is a release of 10,807 bottles.

The 2024 White Blend is a Sauvignon Sémillon blend, whole bunch pressed with 12 months in 500-litre oak, 20% new. This has an effervescent nose with vivacious yellow plum and Japanese yuzu scents, beautifully defined and focused. The palate has a lovely texture with a nuanced reduction, tensile and focused with a very complex and saline, curry leaf finish. Superb and like Duncan Savage said, it will last 20 years with ease.
